Large numbers of letters arriving at Falmouth for seamen on board vessels at the harbour and in the Roads, not enquired for, are returned to the "Dead Letter Office", with subsequent loss to the Revenue. Thus, orders have been sent to the Falmouth Postmaster to forward all ship letters to the parties on their respective ships.
